The corporate headquarters of a well known national brand. A classic commercial or corporate building photo. This image required calculating the best time of day to photograph the building. Then, the weather conditions had to be scouted for a couple of weeks in advance to find the optimal weather to make the best possible image. Finally, careful retouching was done to optimize the color, contrast and “glow” of the building in the afternoon sunlight. Then, as part of that final retouching, clean up of some details which, while small, would be very noticeable since this building is so well cared for and its architecture and landscaping speak to the care, cleanliness and precision of the company. And that had to show through in the final image.

A commercial building situated in a difficult to photograph position which needed to be documented at a difficult time of the year. And it needed to be done quickly for a specific need, taking advantage of halfway decent weather one day in the winter. Solving these sorts of challenges is part of what I do as a commercial and residential real estate and property photographer.
